If you want to get strong, work out. If you want to get really strong, you’re going to need something more than that. I’m not saying you should use steroids, or some fancy HGH oral spray, or eat raw fish, I’m just saying that working out will only make you so strong, and past that you are going to need something more. Your diet is going to need to change, you are going to have to let your body rest, and you are probably going to need steroids. Perhaps.
That is what a lot of people will say in the power-lifting world. It is just the reality of it. Find your local power-lifting competition and go find anyone who is winning. Ask them if they use steroids, if they say ‘no’, they’re lying.
It is kind of sad how prevalent roids have become in America, but at the same time I don’t think it is as tragic as some would have us believe. It isn’t killing people. It isn’t in the big picture really making things that much worse for people. Particularly when you contrast it with the consequences of alcohol and traditional drugs. I’m not saying that steroids should be legal, I just am not convinced that they shouldn’t.
