Raising Children Gives Parents the Chance to Impact a Child

Raising children is one of the most rewarding experiences in life can bring. Yes, it can be very challenging, frustrating, and even expensive, but the end result can be a huge reward. As a parent, I can now see and recognize everything that my parents did for me. I can understand the times that they were angry and frustrated with me because I am experiencing those same emotions with my two young children.

To me, raising children always seemed like an effortless task that everyone did at some point in their life. I thought that it would be hard but mostly I just thought that it would be fun. My eyes were opened the moment I held my son in my arms. Although he was only minutes old, I immediately felt an overwhelming responsibility for him. At that instant, I knew that everything I did in life would directly impact the person he would become. With this mindset, I have fallen in love with the process of raising my children. I love the challenges and the frustrations because I know that every moment is followed by incredible milestones. I tend to forget about the hard times and cherish the happy and exciting moments.

Zeiss Conquest Binoculars

My brother and I used to love playing with my dad’s binoculars. For us, it was fun to see how far we could see with them. We used to use them to spot my dad’s truck coming up the highway on his way home. It was fun to run down the street to meet him.

For my dad, his binoculars were a hunting tool that he used to spot the deer or elk with. They were great for looking from one canyon across to another and seeing what might not be visible without them. I’m sure there were many animals that wished he didn’t have them.

Kawasaki Cab Enclosures Are Great for the Cold Months

I am always outside no matter what month it is and there are several things that I use to make the cold weather more bearable. One of the things that I do is wear several layers of clothing. I always put on coveralls and they do a great job of trapping my body heat inside. For my outerwear, I always have a water proof coat and it helps keep the snow from soaking through my clothes.

I spend a lot of my time in the winter on my Kawasaki mule and it can get very cold sometimes. I now have one of the Kawasaki cab enclosures to cover the outside of my mule and give it a more enclosed feeling. The Kawasaki cab enclosures have been great for my mule and it is so much warmer now. I can drive around in it for so much longer, and now I don’t get too cold. I also have protective face goggles that I wear when I am outside and they really help to protect my face from the elements. I know that no matter what I am going to be outside in the cold, but I have some great things that help to protect me from the elements.

My Son Loves His Airplane Pedal Car

I have the sweetest little four year old boy and his birthday was last week. He is the light of my life, and I wanted his fourth birthday to be absolutely perfect. He really loves airplanes, so the theme of the party was airplanes and pilots. My son wore a pilot costume and all the decorations were airplanes and streamers. I even made him a special airplane cake.

The highlight of his entire party was when I gave him his airplane pedal car. We he saw it, his eyes were huge and his face was full of surprise. It was the greatest reaction a mom could have asked for and I was so happy. He has been on his airplane pedal car nonstop since his birthday, and I am surprised that I can get him off of it to go to bed. I think that his party turned out wonderful and it is definitely going to be a birthday party that I will never forget. His airplane pedal car was the perfect gift, and I know that he is going to get a lot of use out of it. I just hope that next year I can do as great of a job.

Fine Picture Frames and a Sale

When my grandpa passed away several years ago, he left some things behind for my dad and his siblings. It wasn’t anything extravagant, but they were glad to have them. My dad got to take a gun, a hockey poster, and some other small items. He didn’t think much of the things he got until a couple of months ago when we were cleaning out the attic.

My dad found the poster my grandpa had given him and noticed that it had been signed. He decided to look up the signatures and the picture to see if it was worth anything. Come to find out it was actually worth a lot of money and the signatures themselves were very valuable. He decided he was going to put the poster in one of those fine picture frames and see if he could sell it. He put the poster, encased in one of the fine picture frames, online to sell in an auction. He started the bid at one thousand dollars and eventually sold it for five. We couldn’t believe it actually sold for that much. We had a valuable piece sitting in our attic for years never knowing it’s true potential. Now I think my dad is a little more grateful for the small things my grandpa left behind and kind of hopes some of the other things are just as valuable.
