Last year I decided that I wanted to spend some time volunteering overseas. I needed some money to get myself over there, so I started looking for ways to make additional money on the side. I decided to find an Ontario ice cream machines company that I could buy an ice cream machine from. I decided that selling homemade ice cream was a great way to make some extra money. I got a great machine from the Ontario ice cream machines company and started working out my various ice cream creations. I was able to sell a lot of my ice cream. I started selling it to friends and family and then eventually started selling it at the local farmer’s market.
I saved up a lot of money selling the ice cream and got my first experience as an entrepreneur. I loved it so much that I’ll probably return to selling my ice cream once I’m finished volunteering. For now, I am living out my dream of helping those less fortunate than myself. I am currently volunteering in Peru and will probably head to Asia after this assignment is all over. Perhaps I’ll start my own ice cream business in Asia.
