While vacationing in Ottawa, a good friend of mine noticed that a few of the popular Ottawa hotels were offering discounts on their brunch menus. Brunch, as it turned out, is my friend’s favorite meal to eat when staying at hotels or visiting restaurants. She thinks that the discounted brunch promotions were to celebrate commerce and industry in the community, and were a way a saying “thank you” to the many patrons that stayed at the hotels over the years. While the promotions were only good at the hotel that you were actually staying at, the items on the brunch menu at the hotel they were staying at, were phenomenal.
Among my friend’s favorites, were the spinach quiche, Eggs Benedict, western omelet, and the blueberry waffles. She always highly recommended Ottawa hotels to family members and friends who were traveling to the area, because of the great accommodations they offer their guests. Thanks to the generous promotion, my friend’s family was able to enjoy the brunch menu for a fraction of the cost of what it would have normally cost. Everyone enjoyed their food, and the family was even given coupons to come back on another day to get free ice cream sundaes.
